Get in front of YOUR people
Podcast sponsorship works best when the product/service is a perfect fit for the listeners of the show. This "right match" can feel more like a friend recommending something they just discovered rather than yet another advertisement shoved down their throat.
My goal, as the producer on Craig's Ship, is to get the show in front of as many nerds, geeks, gamers, and fans of improv comedy as possible. This tends to be a demographic of individuals in their 20s and 30s who enjoy quality, personalized products with socially conscious elements.

Since we are Kansas City-based, I would love to find companies with a Kansas City connection that can provide goods or services to a wider audience as we grow.

I am looking specifically for business partners in the following categories

-
Local, sustainably made products that promote taking care of people, animals, the planet, or have some other "social" good to them.

-
Services that are provided by "real people" with backgrounds and stories that make them more relatable. My audience is looking for somebody fun to work with- not an automated or cookie-cutter service.

-
Businesses tailored towards creatives or individuals wanting to start their own businesses.

I'm not looking for "any ole" company to promote with the show, I'm looking for companies that provide products that are appealing to my audience. If you think we might be a good fit for each other, please let me know and let's start a conversation about it.
Sponsorship Opportunities
Each season of Craig's Ship will consist of 10 episodes. Each of these 10 episodes will have an ad break in the middle as well as a call back to thank the sponsors at the end of each episode. I am only accepting 1-4 advertisements per episode.

Ideally, we will have two season sponsors, one episode sponsor per episode, and a non-profit "donated" ad spot at the end.

You can read about each of these three sponsorship opportunities below.
Season Sponsorship
I am accepting 1-2 sponsors per season that will have a unique ad on each episode, featuring a different element of the company, testimonial, or product. This will be a total of 10 ad spots and the title of "season sponsor" mentioned in the middle and at the end of the show.

This will allow these sponsors to fully explain their offerings without the audience growing bored of "the same ad read" over and over again."

I will be looking to partner with these sponsors to write dynamic ad copy that fits well into the show and with our audience.

Season Sponsors will be featured on all social media or promotional materials for the entirety of the season on which they are featured.

Season Sponsorships will require a meeting with me to make sure we're the right fit for each other before more specific details are discussed as well as follow up meetings to design ads for each of the 10 episodes.
Episode Sponsorship
Each of the 10 episodes in a season can have an "episode sponsor" in addition to the season sponsors.
Episode sponsorships will require ad copy that will be read during the ad break in the specific episode that the ad is assigned.
I will work with sponsors to match their service or product with the episode it would best fit in.
(Example: talking about financial services in the ad break after a character makes a joke about not having a retirement fund)

Episode sponsors will be promoted on social media along with any promotions for the specific episode they are featured on.
Donated Sponsorship
Each episode of Craig's Ship will have the last ad spot of the episode donated to a non profit organization to promote awareness of their work and direct audience members to learn, participate, or donate.

If there is a nonprofit that you would like to have highlighted and you would like to pay the typical ad fee for them, please let me know. I need to approve all organizations to maintain trust with our audience, but I would love to work with you to bring attention to an organization you are passionate about.

You can choose whether your donation is credited or anonymous on the show.
